As we get closer to the premiere of Knight Squad, stars Daniella Perkins and Owen Joyner are giving us a sneak peek into the new show!

The co-stars shared the clip where Ciara (Daniella), Prudence (Lexi DeBenedetto), and Warwick (Amarr M. Wooten) take Arc (Owen) to see the Phoenix Squad’s recreation room.

The cool room features a cool magic jelly bean that turns into a bean bag chair when thrown on the ground. Find out what else is in their rec room in the video below!

Earlier this month, the first trailer for the show was released and showed Ciara revealing her big secret.

Knight Squad, which also stars Lilimar and Kelly Perine, premieres THIS Saturday (February 24) on Nickelodeon.

Viacom Launches Apprenticeship Scheme At London HQ; Rebrands 'MTV Breaks' As 'Viacom Breaks'

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has created a new 15-month paid apprenticeship scheme, which will offer four applicants the opportunity to study towards a junior content producer NVQ Level 3 qualification.


The recruitment process will start in Summer 2018 with the successful candidates being appointed in November 2018. Apprentices will have the opportunity to work across a range of departments including Milkshake!, MTV Talent and Comedy Central digital.

The company has also re-branded 'MTV Breaks' to 'Viacom Breaks' with the opportunity for around 40 successful applicants to start work in June 2018 across its entire portfolio of channels including Nickelodeon, Channel 5, MTV, and Comedy Central, earning £19,890 (GPB) for the year.

This twelve month scheme will launch on Monday 19th February 2018 and the company also hopes to fill more than 60 four-day work experience opportunities in its Hawley Crescent headquarters in Camden, North London.

Nickelodeon USA To Premiere Blurtier Edition Of 'Blurt' On Friday 23rd February 2018

It's the brand-new movie everybody's talking about - and this Friday, Blurt! is back and Blurtier than ever - with bloopers, behind-the-scenes exclusives, and more! Tune in for even more Blurtier Blurt!, premiering Friday 23rd February 2018 at 6:00pm ET/PT, only on Nickelodeon USA!:



Starring Jace Norman (Henry Danger, Splitting Adam, Rufus), JoJo Siwa (Lip Sync Battle Shorties) and Daniella Perkins (Knight Squad), Blurt! is a brand-new live-action comedy that tells the story of Jeremy Martin (Jace Norman) who, after a comical virtual reality mishap, starts speaking every thought he has out loud and to complicate matters, he happens to be running in the school election.

Jeremy Martin is a nice-guy and when he puts on mysterious virtual reality glasses at the mall, he suddenly loses his “inside voice” and starts spouting every thought he has out loud. Making matters worse, Jeremy is running for student council president against his classmate Milly (Daniella Perkins), who is full of great ideas to improve the school. Desperate to get back to normal, Jeremy and his sister Victoria (JoJo Siwa) must figure out how to convince his brain that he can speak up for himself.


The virtual reality sequences featured in the movie are being developed and created by Nickelodeon’s Entertainment Lab, the network’s new division spearheading long-range research and development efforts around new technologies for Nick and its audience. Blurt is the second on-air project fed through the lab, following Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library.

Blurt is executive produced by Scott McAboy and Michael Sammaciccia. Amy Sydorick is serving as producer. Jace Norman is serving as co-producer. The TV movie was written by Adrian Vina (Liar, Liar Vampire) and is directed by Michelle Johnston (Another Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits).

Nickelodeon Russia (Россия) will premiere the first season finale episode of Быть блогером, in which one lucky contestant will be crowned as Nickelodeon Россия's official vlogger, on Wednesday 21st March 2018 at 19:20 MCK!


Быть блогером (Be A Blogger) is Nickelodeon Россия's first-ever locally produced series. Throughout the eight-episode series, three popular Russian internet celebrities - actress Polina Grents, and Миша Шевчук and Максим Старосвитский, the hosts of the popular Room Factory YouTube channel - whose videos have collected hundreds of thousands of viewers, have been sharing their tips and tricks with kids on how to shoot hit videos so that they can become the internet's next star blogger. Each of the eight episodes have been devoted to different aspects of blogging, such as how to start blogging, choosing the right equipment, and how to win a audience.

In the final episode of Быть блогером, Polina, Миша and Максим will remind viewers of all the advice they have shared throughout the series, such as, how to decide the genre of your blog, and how to get the light perfect for a good shot. In addition, Polina, Миша and Максим will showcase the best works of this years Быть блогером participants on-air for fans to watch.

Pam Kaufman, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and President at Nickelodeon Global Consumer Products, is all about placement—literally. Now solely in charge of Nickelodeon’s consumer products business internationally, Kaufman is strategically focused on global alignment by managing the company’s franchises, growing its portfolio and investing in leadership development on a worldwide scale. And her promotion to overseeing all global efforts comes as Nick looks to become more collaborative and internationally streamlined in its CP endeavors.

This heightened level of international focus is already being implemented in Nickelodeon’s new partnership with Hasbro for preschool property Top Wing. The agreement is the company’s first preschool master toy deal with Hasbro on a global scale, and initial products—including figures, vehicles, playsets and plush—will launch in the US this fall before becoming available internationally in spring 2019 (mirroring the show’s content roll out).

In addition to the Top Wing deal, a partnership with Paramount on a number of new opportunities is very much in line with these priorities, Kaufman says. “I’ve been very fortunate to have a variety of different roles at Viacom,” Kaufman says of her 20-year tenure at the Nickelodeon parentco. “Nickelodeon continues to be one of the most exciting and meaningful brands in the world.”

Kaufman took on responsibility for the kidsnet’s domestic consumer products business in 2013, and has since managed US licensing and merchandising for some of Nick’s iconic properties such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. With her eyes now on a global stage, Kaufman says two major priorities for her team in 2018 are Sunny Day and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Nickelodeon is launching consumer products inspired by Sunny Day at Walmart in May 2018, and additional branded products–including apparel, accessories, novelty, publishing, home entertainment and sporting goods–will debut later this year. The consumer products program comes as a second 20-episode season of the Silvergate Media-produced preschool show readies for its premiere on the kidsnet later this year.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, meanwhile, is a reimagining of the classic boy-skewing franchise. The 2D-animated series is slated to launch this fall, along with consumer products. The show follows the famous half-shell heroes as they discover a magical new world under New York’s streets.

Another significant focus in Kaufman’s new role is leadership development on a global level. “We will continue to make a big investment in the talent of our organization around the world,” she says. “The team here has been through some extraordinary training and I’m really excited now to be able to work on leadership development on a global level. It’s so important.”

This investment in and empowerment of employees will make the company stronger, as, moving forward, Kaufman says local teams will continue to make decisions about a number of licensing agreements, marketing programs and retail partnerships. Just last month, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) upped Mark Kingston to Senior Vice President (SVP) at Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products, where he is now reporting to Kaufman and overseeing the company’s consumer products business, promotions and marketing efforts outside of the US across retail, operations and licensing.

NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2018 – Nickelodeon will bring its hit animated preschool series Sunny Day to life this summer with the debut of a robust portfolio of consumer products, beginning with a new line of toys from Mattel, and the launch of the Sunny Day Tour, an immersive on-ground activation that will travel to cities across the U.S.

Nickelodeon has also greenlit a second season (20 episodes) of Sunny Day that will follow Sunny, a 10-year-old master hairstylist and entrepreneur, as she goes on exciting new adventures in her seaside town of Friendly Falls.

All change! Thomas & Friends will be part of Nick Jr. USA’s timetable from March 2018 when the Mattel animated series moves from its longtime home on PBS to Nickelodeon's top-performing preschool channel, Variety has learned!


Nickelodeon has brought on board the series, based on the much-loved Reverend Awdry Thomas the Tank Engine books, and will also be the exclusive consumer products agent for Thomas & Friends in the U.S. The deal spells an end to Thomas’ long relationship with PBS, which showed spin-off series Shining Time Station as far back as the late 1980s and Thomas & Friends from 2004.

Mattel took ownership of the Thomas & Friends brand when it acquired Hit Entertainment in 2011 and has given the TV property a major overhaul for its upcoming 22nd season, Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures!, which debuts in the fall.


The new look and storylines were developed in association with the United Nations, incorporating several of its development goals and introducing new international characters and locations beyond Thomas’ home island of Sodor. Within Thomas’ Steam Team, Henry and Edward are making way for Rebecca and Nia, the first African engine, in the overhauled show, which also amps up the comedy, pacing, and adds musical elements.

There is also a Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Movie, a curtain-raiser to the series, which will be on Nick Jr. ahead of the series.

Season 21 of the traditional Thomas & Friends will bow weekdays on Nick Jr. in the U.S. in March. The Viacom-owned channel also gets various specials as part of its deal with Mattel and will run content on its NickJr.com site and the Nick Jr. App.
